Next Saturday June 4th, marks exactly one year to the day since We Fear Silence became residents at Cable. In that time we’ve blasted out some amazing House music with Buzzin’ Fly and Mulletover and made sure we had our ear plugs in for the bassier sounds of Chew The Fat! and Dirty Canvas. We have hosted some incredible Techno shows with Minus and Blueprint, brocked out to some D&B with Shogun Audio, Metalheadz and ABOC. Not forgetting the amazing technicolour music of Benji Bs Deviation and the 808 impact of Swamp81.

The year ahead holds more in store and quite a few extras thrown in for good measure. However – for one night only, we decided we needed a night off and have ourselves a drink (or six) at the bar. So, next Saturday we have organised a ‘Friends & Family Love In’ that will see some of the DJs we have worked with over the year grace the decks playing their other musical loves, not necessarily what they are known for – Funk, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Bass, House – we got it covered.

And, as you have all supported us so amazingly through the year we thought it would be great to see some of the regular faces at the party. The first 50 people to email hello@wefearsilence.com can come and party until the early hours with their mates – and obviously carry on at Jaded until 1pm on Sunday if they’re hard enough!
